Cat Eye Study in Coloured Pencil – ATC Size

I have a lot of learning and watching of Lisa’s huge video library to do. Lisa uses a different way of teaching you to draw with coloured pencils especially on pastelmat and other medium.

I’ve been intrigued all last week to have a go with Lisa’s style and techniques.

I was well out of my comfort zone. But my thoughts were, it’s a small 3.5″ x 2.5″ piece, known as a ATC Size (Artist Trading Card) that you would normally swap with other artists, like a business card I suppose.

So if I made a complete mess of it, it wouldn’t be the end of the world and it’s all part of my JOURNEY into the world of coloured pencils.

I finished it earlier today. I do think I need to darken it up a little in places but seeing as I’m still under so much stress I think I’ll leave there. Something to look back on.
