I’m currently drawing a whippet, now it could be a greyhound but I’m still thinking more a whippet. Do tell me your thoughts in the comments below.

Part of this tutorial was one of Bonny Snowdon’s free challenges recently. She did the eye and ear challenges but now has completely finished the full tutorial and it’s available from her academy.

I just had to have a go, especially because it’s on pastlemat and I really am starting to like Clairfontane Pastelmat, mainly because you can get light over dark. You can’t do that on any smooth surfaced paper or film. I just don’t like the graininess but I think as I practice more the better I will become.

So enough of my waffle, here is where I currently am. I hope to carry on with him more this week.
