I have both ears drawn now.

My critical self is saying I can’t do this but I’m trying to ignore it. If I don’t push myself I’m never going to improve my skill so I have to say to myself if I make a mess of it, so be it, it’s a learning curve. It’ll be something to look back on in years to come to compare how far I’ve come and improved.
