After my success with Bonny’s coloured pencil week drawings I decided to have a go at the small swan that started last Tuesday – 4th June 2024. I didn’t join in live on Zoom because I do like to pause, so I try to follow along the day after or so.

I’m using a light grey pastlemat sheet by Clairefontane so that the colours stand out. We all think that a swan is white but no it has greys and other colours in the piece.

This piece is only about 4″ square so only small. The main aim of this piece is to use colour depths, so no actual fine detail.

I love it so far.
