I thought I would have a go at drawing a little quick red robin today. This time of year really does make me feel down in the dumps.

I’m now counting the days to the shortest day on 21st December. Like most of us we hate the dark mornings and evenings.

But I really do love to watch the birds. Where I used to live I never saw birds in my garden and not for the want of trying either, they just never appeared.

But since I moved in August, I have an abundance of them, it was the first thing that greeted me the day I came to view this house, the birds and their bird song that day.

The little things in life mean so much and seeing the birds is one sure thing to make me smile.
