I am hoping I am not setting myself up for a big fall from my easel this week but there are so many things I want to learn to draw, that I am spoilt for choice.
So I’m taking a leap of faith this week, being adventurous. I may start to regret it or I may just simply change my mind. Cause it’s not written in stone is it and I’m allowed to.
Here are 3 line arts I’ve printed out that I would love to start to work on this week. I have cut my paper. I ordered 3 different papers from Jackson’s Art last week but there has to be one, 2 of them I can’t tell which they are. I had hoped that they would have had something on them so I could tell which was which.

The pastlemat board, well that is easy to tell the difference but I also order some
Fabriano : Artistico : 300gsm : 22x30in : 1 Sheet : Extra White : HP
and
Canson : Moulin du Roy : Watercolour Paper : 56x76cm : 1 Sheet : HP
I can’t tell the difference between them, I had hoped the Fabriano had the logo in the corner but sadly I can’t see it so it’s pot luck now when I am drawing. I’m not sure I’m experienced enough to tell the difference. If anybody know a way to tell, please leave me a comment below.
1 – The hedgehog, will be on drafting film following a tutorial by Becca Barron Art
2 – The sunflower, will be on the hot press paper, I hope the Canson Moulin du Roy but who know, I’ve cut it ready. This will be created following a tutorial by Shannon Mullin
3 – The ginger Tom cat will also be on the hot press paper, same as above, this tutorial is by Teresa Joy Fine Art.
I just can’t help myself I want to draw things from all 3 amazing tutors that all have different styles and skills for me to develop my own style from.
I really don’t expect to finish them this week but I really do need to time each one so I can see how long they actually take me to draw.
Till my next update, take care,
